In Objects On My Dresser, Phase 2: Psycho-Aesthetics Dynamics Rapoport selected objects and correlated words as a way to explore her self via psychological analysis. This phase draws from extensive discussions with collaborator Winifred De Vos, psychotherapist, about Rapoport’s associations with her own object/word selections, which resulted in idiosyncratic categories (Threading, Masking, Moving, Hand, Chest, and Eye).

The object/word selections were displayed via cards with images of the objects placed on a radial “NETWEB” plot on the floor. Exhibited at 80 Langton Street, San Francisco in 1980.
